Life Time Alpharetta

I’ve been coming to this gym for a little over two years, and it’s been life-changing! I love my coaches (Chris and Kristi) and how knowledgeable they are. The workouts they provide are science-based, which, as a healthcare provider, makes a big difference to me. They don’t see you as just a number, but as a person who’s trying to be fit and healthy. Everyone who works here is so nice to me. This place basically has everything you need to stay healthy and look great — from fitness classes to a salon where you can get your nails and hair done. And I can’t forget to mention the smoothies — they’re absolutely delicious! The recovery section is incredible too — they have massage tables, compression therapy, and even hot and cold massage tables. It feels amazing after an intense workout, and my body truly appreciates it! My lower back had been bothering me, so I tried chiropractic care with Stephanie, and it was amazing! She’s very skilled and knowledgeable too. I’m so thankful to be able to work out in a place that truly cares about you. I have no words for how much I appreciate my coaches — they are amazing, and I love how they push me even when I don’t think it’s possible. 💪💖

Please reopen the outdoor cold pool. Many members use cold exposure as part of their recovery and wellness routine, and the cold pool is one of the most valuable features of this gym. Right now, the hot tub and sauna are available, but the cold pool is permanently closed, and it limits the full recovery cycle. Many members, including myself, regularly practice contrast therapy, and it’s a major reason we chose Life Time over other gyms in the area. This location has everything to be one of the strongest clubs in the region — it just needs the cold pool back in service. A lot of people here would really appreciate it. My goal is not to criticize, but to help improve the experience for all members who rely on contrast therapy.

I have been a lifetime member for over 5 years and would regularly go to the lifetime in Woodstock. We recently moved to cumming so the closest location is Alpharetta. In order to go to Alpharetta our membership cost went up roughly $150 dollars for both my fiancé and I. We have been going to Alpharetta for two months now and are really thinking about cancelling our membership. This gym is not kept clean. All of the bathroom stalls are disgusting and no one flushes the toilet here. Funny… but it is disgusting, haha. The sauna is so gross under the wood, I don’t even want to sit in there and look at it. The treadmills are so old as well. We are paying more money for a dirty, outdated gym. I miss the cleanliness of Woodstock and the equipment was well kept and maintained. Every day there would be someone in the locker room cleaning and keeping it nice. We contemplated driving 45 minutes to the gym in Woodstock because we love the amenities of lifetime… but unfortunately it’s too far. Now we are stuck with a higher monthly rate since we switched and I don’t even want to go to Alpharetta.
