My father-in-law brought us here mainly because they serve Leinie’s. We started with the Leffrickes—fried pickles served with a sauce that tasted just like Chick-fil-A sauce. They were absolutely delicious! They disappeared so quickly I didn’t even get a chance to snap a photo. The pickles were lightly coated, probably in panko, and had a great crunch that paired perfectly with the tang of the pickle. I ordered the garlic parmesan wings, which were nicely sauced and full of flavor. It’s always a win when wings aren’t dry. As for sides, it was pretty minimal—just two pieces of celery and a pickled banana pepper, which made me laugh a little. My husband enjoyed his “Lucky Town” sammies, and the fries were decent. My mother-in-law really liked her pork queso nachos, too. I also tried their muddled brandy old fashioned (sweet), which was okay—just a bit watered down for my taste. Overall, it was a good experience. The food hit the spot, the service was decent, and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. Plus, they’re kid-friendly, which is always a plus.
Leff’s Lucky Town is a gem nestled in the heart of Wauwatosa, and it consistently proves why it's a go-to spot for both locals and visitors seeking great drinks and food. One of the standout features of Leff’s is its friendly and attentive staff. The bartenders and servers are not only personable but also seem genuinely excited to ensure you have a memorable experience. Their warm hospitality sets the tone for a relaxed and enjoyable outing. When it comes to the menu, Leff’s does not disappoint. The cheesy spud potato side is a must-try; it's comfort food at its finest with the perfect blend of creamy cheese and crispy potatoes. For those who love appetizers, Leff’s offers a delightful selection. The pretzel is soft and warm, paired perfectly with tangy mustard or cheese dip. The cheese curds are golden and gooey, exactly as they should be, while the fried pickles provide a tangy, crunchy bite that pairs well with a refreshing drink. The lively atmosphere, combined with these tasty offerings, makes Leff’s Lucky Town a favorite spot for casual gatherings. Whether you're catching up with friends or enjoying a night out, the quality service and delicious menu items make it a reliable choice for a good time. Can't wait to go back!
We ordered take out so I cannot speak about service. The food however was very good! I ordered The Lucky Town sandwich and a cup of chili. They were both excellent.
