Great historic experience with young black Caddies and trees with so much character in the heart of the city. Great to know that investors have decided to invest more into it for the future. Cant' wait to go back there after renovations.
It was a privilege to finally visit this historic golf range. I had passed it for years and only stopped in when I took my nephew for his lesson. The Langston range is a gem rich with history, purpose, and a great range. We are so grateful that they offer lessons to youngsters in the summer. There is a wonderful golf supply store and cafe. Oh, and the menu is a draw too. I enjoyed a lovely salad while waiting for my nephew to wrap up his lesson.
All the staff were kind — from the front desk to the field managers — and everyone greeted us with a smile. The green fee was also very reasonable. However, I felt the facilities could really use some improvements. They seemed quite outdated, and I would have gladly paid a bit more to play at a renovated course. Since this was a rare visit to the U.S., I had hoped to play somewhere clean, beautiful, and well-maintained like in Hawaii, California or Las Vegas. Unfortunately, those kinds of courses are members-only and couldn’t be booked, so we came here instead — which was a bit disappointing.
