I want to respond to a negative post from the couple that we let go ahead of on Tuesday October 15/25 My group of golfers were waiting for our 9:32 tee-time That morning there was a frost warning and golfers had to wait for the golf course to give the ok to proceed. We were early and let a group of two men tee off and we were still waiting for one more of our group. We let another couple, a man and woman tee off. They said thank you and proceeded to the tee box. Our fourth golfer showed up ready to tee off at 9:32 My group, now four golfers had to wait for this man and woman observing that she was a new golfer. Her first shot hit the net to the left, the woman took another shot. They had been there for at least ten minutes setting up. They proceed down the fairway. We are still waiting, and more golfers were starting to line up behind us waiting for their t-times. This couple made it to the green and spent over ten minutes putting, We thought they were done and then observed them still on the green. We saw him lining clubs down on the ground to teach her to putt and coaching her. They took at least 20 minutes to do the first hole Finally they moved on to the 2nd hole. All four of us proceed with our shots, and there were at least 3 sets of golfers waiting lined up behind us. We had to wait for this couple to complete their second hole. Same thing, we thought they were done and then, they were back on the green to finish their putts. We could see that the man was teaching the woman how to golf. They moved onto the third hole. My group were chipping onto the second green when a female marshal drove a cart to the third hole to talk to the man and woman. We heard her tell him that they needed to hurry up and golf without him giving lessons to the woman, she said twice "no lessons" The marshal was not rude or loud. She spoke to us saying 'I hope this helps ladies" This couple were too absorbed in him teaching her the game of golf to observe that they were causing a back up in the golfers behind them. We all learn, but they needed to golf and watch what is going on around them They caused a back up of many golfers I have had many good games of golf at Langley Golf Centre. the staff have always been very helpful, there are many rules and regulations that need to be followed. and the staff let the golfers know in a kindly manner.
Driving Range Pretty disappointing experience. The driving range is still under construction, and the temporary setup is honestly not worth the money. The mats were soaked, gravel was scattered everywhere, and it felt like zero maintenance had been done. My clubs even got scratched up because of all the debris. Inside the tent, the rover isn’t aligned properly, so you’re basically hitting straight into a gravel pile. It felt unsafe and definitely not what you expect when you’re paying to practice. Overall, a very poor setup and a total waste of $10 for 50 balls. I won’t be back until the place is actually finished and usable.
This is a fantastic par 3 I recommend to anyone at any skill level. Recently the greens have improved with what seems to be alot more attention and care. A great course to practice your shorter game from 100 - 190 yard holes.. light on the wallet. A great course with many regulars including myself that fills the need for a nice 18 without taking all day to do it!
