Lake Superior View Golf

For the most part, the course is adequate. It presents several challenges (tree in the fairway on one hole, plenty of bunkers, cattail marshes, unmowed drainage areas,...), but the greens are well-maintained, although there seems to be an issue of golfers not repairing ball marks. I repair two or three per green usually, and seldom are they my own :). I guess my concern is the length of grass everywhere: fairways and tee boxes are about 1/2" too long and there are missed tufts in the fairways. The rough doesn't have to be that "rough", although it does make you WANT to be in the fairway. The areas around, and including the greens are usually nicely maintained. And as I mentioned before, there are several areas that could be/need to be cleared by a push-mower that would at least make looking for a ball less aggravating. Holes #6 and #7, for sure, need maintained drop areas because of hazards.

You play parallel to the 18 hole golf course. They also have a 9 hole stand alone course. Super nice folk run the place. Nice views over Chequamegon Bay/lake Superior and right price $5!

I don't mind the fact that I have to pay $5 to play around a disc golf here, but my brother-in-law and I were playing and had one of our discs stolen by a kid who was walking around with his family on the disc golf course now I don't know if the disc golf course doubles as some sort of like nature walk / whatever but if it does that is extremely unprofessional and you wouldn't want people walking around on the actual Golf Course, so why would they be doing it on the disc golf course. Luckily for us we ran into the kid who had our disc but we spent 30 minutes looking for this thing when it was a stolen by someone. And mind you the owner had the gall to walk up to us and ask if we paid which we did and I doubt the kid who walked up and stole our disc did. Great beautiful Course located in a great beautiful area completely undermined by my experience there. If I would have had a great time I would have given this 6/5 stars.
