Lake Hallie Golf Course / Bar & Restaurant

Tried this place out for a potential new Saturday night prime rib spot. Wouldn’t recommend. Medium rare prime rib was chewier than beef jerky. Baked potato was over cooked. Price was normal for $28 for 14 oz, potato, roll, Cole slaw. No option for onions or mushrooms appearently which is also odd and likely a reason not to go. I’m sure they are a fine golf and burger joint though just not a prime rib go to spot.

The front nine has a couple of nice holes but the balance are swamp and a strange layout. Must have been the new nine they crammed in. On one hole, you hit over a road onto two possible greens. The back nine is much more enjoyable and like an old mature course. Par 3’s are very tough but liked it a lot. Online price makes it worth it but full price wouldn’t.

There were some issues with staffing but the crew that was there worked extremely well to get things done. The drinks were wonderful and the food was very good! An impressive job all around. Thank you for accommodating our group.very pleasant staff!
