Lake Cora Hills Golf Club

Played here for the first time this morning (8/9/25). Green fees were $52/ cart, which is about $20 too much for a course like this. The Blue tees were just over 6k yards, and there are a few blind approach shots. The layout is decent, the greens were in good shape, just a bit shaggy, which is understandable due to the lack of rain and recent heat. I’m sure they have a pretty small maintenance budget and it shows. The tee boxes are in awful condition, most fairways are barely discernible from the rough. A little bit of water and mowing would go a long way here. All in all, this is kinda what you might expect from a small lake town in the middle of summer. I would never go back and play again for $52, but this is nothing for all the summer visitors from Chicago in the area.

Well maintained and a bit challenging course. 5 each par 5s and par 3s. First time made it a little hard to find the next tees a few times but I enjoyed our outing.

Love this place year round! Beautiful place and the kids all have a blast sledding!😁
