Beautiful course and lovely facility! John, the General Manager, and his staff are kind and very professional. I also enjoyed a wonderful meal in the club’s restaurant. I’ll be happy to come back again!

My husband and I LOVED our wedding venue at Kemper Lakes Golf Club. It turned out absolutely beautiful and perfect! We got married on Saturday, May 20, 2023. More importantly, the event coordinator, Jessica Trzop was fantastic to work with. She answered ALL my questions via phone and email. As we got closer to the date, I had a million more questions that just kept popping up and Jessica would respond in a timely fashion putting my mind at ease. Planning a wedding is stressful and having a solid and responsive coordinator like Jessica is extremely important. During the food tasting, she provided us with additional information that I forgot to ask about and she always treated my family and the bride and groom with the utmost respect. Also, the food tasting was absolutely fantastic! Six of us attended and all six of us LOVED every appetizer and main dish! In my head I was thinking it’s always better during the food tasting compared to the day of the actual wedding, but guess what? The food was just as GREAT the day of the wedding! Guests were coming up to me throughout the night and telling me how wonderful their cream of broccoli cheddar soup was and how their steaks were cooked to perfection! Guests were licking their plates clean! My fillet mignon was cooked to perfection the day of the wedding too. I was so happy to hear that all my guests also had wonderful meals. I can’t believe the Kemper Lakes Chef was able to cook 100+ filets to perfection (pink/red in the middle) just like I had asked for. I was very impressed! Thank you for this! This was very important to me that the food turned out just as great as it did during the food tasting. The only thing I was bummed about was that five of my guests didn’t show up the day of the wedding and I wasn’t able to go home with any of those meals. I never brought this up during all my conversations with Jessica. But now knowing how amazing the food was the day of the wedding, I suggest you put this in your contract with Kemper Lakes asking to have any left over meals packaged up so that you can enjoy them the next day (especially since you paid for them in advance), the food was that good. Now in terms to the outdoor ceremony space, this spot was absolutely beautiful. We loved it. For cocktail hour, we rented out the pre-function bar space (which is a must!) this was the perfect room to rent out and we were lucky enough to have perfect weather so my guests were also able to hangout outside along the patio that wrapped around the venue. The outside patio area had an open bar with one bartender to serve guests and the inside bar had two bartenders. We provided Kemper Lakes with our family mai tai recipe (for my drink of choice “hers”) and they recreated it perfectly! During cocktail hour the servers passed out hors d’oeuvres inside and outside to all the guests. The inside pre-function bar space, had music being pumped through their speaker system and Kemper Lakes provided my band with a speaker to play music on the outside patio area. Everything was just perfect. Moving onto the reception room, we loved the high vaulted ceilings and the floor to ceiling windows. The acoustics were also perfect for our band! Jessica had this room beautifully decorated and also gave me suggestions prior to the big day as to where to sit guests and our band, photographer, and videographer. Thank you for this! I highly suggest Kemper Lakes for a wedding venue. When I went to other venues, I felt pressured and they were not willing to work within our budget. Jessica told me all the costs up front and suggested other alternatives and was upfront with me the entire time. It was exactly what I wanted and needed. I am so lucky to have had my wedding here at this venue. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you Jessica Trzop and Kemper Lakes for helping me have the wedding of my dreams.

We had our wedding here last weekend, and it was everything we wished for! Jessica was amazing to work with throughout the process. Her many years of experience made planning our wedding so much easier. Mckenzi, Erica and the Kemper staff went above and beyond on the day of our wedding to make sure everything was set up beautifully. There are also so many scenic spots around the venue for great photos. At the end of the night, so many of our guests mentioned how wonderful the venue was and how much they enjoyed the food. Highly recommend having a wedding here!
