JL Golf Academy

JL Golf Academy opened by Jeff about a year ago. It is well located in Stamford and a great place to go to hone you golf game, or get introduced to golf. Jeff is a great resource and professional instructor. Very personable, extremely helpful and interested in helping the golfer improve and succeed. His facility is personal, not overwhelming, conveniently located. I recently took up playing golf regularly and went to visit JL Golf when it first opened. It has helped me tremendously. I could learn my clubs, improve my swing and take that to the course for rapid improvement. Jeff has the equipment and knowledge to help anyone from beginner to scratch golfer, improve. He has offered some innovative uses of his facility such as playing different courses, testing out clubs, doing club fitting. Or just finding out what is right for you. Jeff is patient, knowledgeable, and makes learning fun. Initially, I signed up for lessons for our kids, but when my husband came along, Jeff gave him a few pointers and fixed my husband’s slice after just one lesson, and after a few months, his distance and accuracy improved dramatically. Our kids love their sessions too. Highly recommend Jeff for both kids and adults or to introduce golf to your family!

I just got fitted for a new set of clubs and couldn’t be happier with the experience! Jeff was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and made sure everything was tailored perfectly to my swing. The fitting process was detailed and never felt rushed — he took the time to explain each club, shaft, and setup recommendation. You can tell he genuinely cares about getting you into the right equipment. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or just getting started, I highly recommend getting fitted here.
