Jackson Park Golf Course

The café at Jackson Park Golf Course is excellent! Grilled chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun...great range for full swing practice and the chipping/pitching green near hole #7 is awesome for short game skillz.

It's a great course to have at this price point and location relative to the city. Usually plays decently quickly. No, it's not at the same level as $100+ daily fee public courses or other courses an hour+ away - but a challenging design relative to the course rating, very playable conditions, and covenient

Jackson park is a local Seattle course that is relatively near the city and is in pretty good shape, despite the wet climate. The course is surrounded by tall foresty trees, and has lots of interesting opportunities to challenge yourself. From the tips, the course plays a bit longer than its 6100 yards total distance because it has several holes that are uphill and into the wind. The grass coverage and upkeep is pretty good and the greens are usually in excellent shape. There are a few greens that are relatively steep and breaking, so you will get a great opportunity to practice your lag putting. In terms of shape and shot selection, Jackson offers all sorts of interesting situations and blind shots. Of course, every round of golf is a conversation between the player and course. So with that said, depending on how you’re playing, your strategic thinking, and your imagination, you can really have a fun round out here. Overall, this facility has good practice greens, a good double decker driving range, and a reasonably challenging course to up level your game.
