Nice clean greens and gorgeous spaces free of debris and trash. Affordable food was piping HOT and very yummy! Fries were especially yummy. Staff is friendly and very approachable. You can order food to be brought to the hole you're playing, or you can have it waiting for you in the club house!!! This place is open when other courses are not! If it's above 50° it's golfing weather!
Laid back 18hole course. Front 9 is open with a 2nd hole 57yd island green. Par 33 front Back 9 is wooded and more challenging. Par 33 back. Clubhouse is nice & redone. Clean modern bathrooms. Grill has great food!
The course has never been in better shape!!! The food is still great. However over packing the course is becoming more and more of an issue. In my last four experiences, it has been very difficult to get a cart and normally have had to wait 10 to 15 minutes each time making it a late tee off, that by itself normally wouldn’t be a big deal. However, it seems the reason for lack of carts is overpacking of the course. Took almost 2 hours to play the front nine(par33 and wide open) which at a normal rate of play could be done in an hour and 15 minutes or less. I turned to the back nine to have three twosomes in front of us, waiting to tee off, a twosome halfway down the fairway, a foursome as well and then my group of me and my son behind them. While I was waiting to tee off two more groups of two somes stacked up behind us. It is clear that there is no understanding of when people might make a turn and when not to send people to the back. It took me 45 minutes to play 10 and 11 and I pared them both so I wasn’t off looking for my ball. I left very frustrated after that realizing that there’s no ranger enforcing rate of play or breaking up groups of eight that decide to join together after they’re out of view of the clubhouse. This course is a great place for people to learn on, but enforcing etiquette and rules is a must. While playing and waiting for other groups, I was repeatedly hit upon and narrowly being missed. I have golfed religiously at this course for the last 12 years and I don’t know if it’s because the courses around us shutting down they feel the need to get greedy or what but it’s really sad to see such a nice place and such close proximity to home turning into this.
