Iron Horse Golf Club

Yesterday we hosted our 13th Annual CureNFwithJack Golf Classic. Rain can ruin a charity golf event when it has to cancel. Well, we pivoted to a poker tournament and party and our afternoon turned out great! People were there to help cure a disorder and they never list sight of that and with help of Brittany Rives, Zach Cooper and their teams, we raised money for more research! Iron Horse went way above and beyond and this grateful father is thankful

On Friday December 5, 2025, my husband and I hosted a rehearsal dinner for my son and his fiancée at Iron Horse Golf Club. We could not have been more pleased with our event. We received many compliments on food, drink, decor, & service. Brittany Rives and her team were so easy to work with and so accommodating. Our event was memorable for all the right reasons. Food- We started with a charcuterie board with pimento cheese, meats, crackers, passed spicy deviled eggs & chicken & waffles. The spicy deviled eggs were absolutely delicious! Those were my favorite and very popular. Our northern guests also enjoyed the chicken and waffles. We decided to treat our northern guests to a southern buffet of biscuits, corn bread, BBQ chicken breasts, brisket, collards, and smoked gouda mac / cheese. The chicken breast was very tender (you could cut it with a fork!) and very flavorful. I love collard greens, and these were delicious. Our dessert bar had gingerbread and pecan pie. The pie was outstanding. Drink- We offered an open bar, and it was well stocked. There were a few specialty drinks. The margarita was very tasty! It was a very popular choice. The bartenders were really friendly and lots of people commented to me about that as they could get swamped at times. Decor- Iron Horse decorates for Christmas each year and Brittany did share with me what her vision for the club was this year. It was beautiful! Many people complimented the decor. There was garland on the stairs, lights, several Christmas trees and each table had its own arrangement. I chose linens to compliment and brought in menu and name cards. Iron Horse has a baby grand piano on premise. Brittany allowed me to hire a pianist to play during our party. This was beautiful accompaniment to the dinner. Iron Horse has its own parking lot with ample parking for guests. no problems with parking. I highly recommend Iron Horse Golf Club. I would use them again. It is a beautiful facility, and the staff is very friendly and very easy to work with.

We contracted with the Iron Horse Golf Club for our wedding in April. We called several venues and people took FOREVER to get back to us, sometimes just to tell us that they couldn't work with us because it was going to be such a small wedding. Brittany (the Director of Sales Operations at the Iron Horse Golf Club) called back within an hour and she was our go-to person for the entire event. She was always prompt when responding to our communications and helpful with suggestions. Everything went smoothly and the day was stress-free for both of us. They even designed our centerpieces for us upon request. The venue was gorgeous and perfect for our small wedding. We had the option for an indoor or outdoor ceremony and there were so many beautiful places for photos, including our sunset photos. The club also worked with our wedding photographer to give her a tour of the venue and grounds so that she could plan photo locations.
