Casey Negrete and his team at Impact Health and Performance are amazing! Casey is a certified physical therapist who listens, creates custom plans, and really knows how to improve mobility and performance. I came for golf, struggling with distance, and through targeted stretching and workouts, my mobility and golf game have improved. Even better, my overall health and fitness have benefited too. Highly recommend!

I initially sought out Impact Health and Performance following a diagnosis of severe neuropathy, having lost approximately 80% nerve function in my feet and legs. This was a debilitating and complex challenge. My three years under Dr. Casey Negrete's care have not just been transformative; it is no exaggeration for me to share that without Casey and the process he has led me through, he saved my life. Casey's expertise, particularly his focus on golf and improving the body's ability to support the mechanics of the swing, was the perfect fit for my specific recovery goals. The severity of my condition was such that when we first started, I was unable to make a simple golf swing without losing my balance and falling down. Customized Program & Neurological Understanding: Casey’s approach went far beyond standard physical therapy, utilizing a constantly evolving program focused on neuroplasticity and re-education of motor pathways. The Sled Push Breakthrough: A defining moment 30 days in, while doing weighted sled pushes, highlighted the brain-body disconnect. When asked to pull the sled backward, I had to stop and actively think about the task. It was a powerful realization of the extent of the retraining required—a moment we look back on now and laugh, realizing how far we have truly come together. The true measure of the success of this process is the functional outcome: Return to Sport: This past summer, I achieved a goal I once thought impossible: I played in my first competitive golf tournament in 30 years. Rebuilding Life: This recovery is about more than just golf; it is about regaining control, balance, and quality of life. Casey provided the clinical knowledge, motivation, and positive encouragement needed to navigate this long and challenging journey. My recovery outlined in this review has created a new starting line. Building upon the foundational work and functional gains achieved with Casey, I have now transitioned to the next phase of my journey: focusing on specialized golf fitness with the broader Impact Health and Performance team. Casey has cultivated an amazing team of experts who are all incredibly experienced and knowledgeable in performance training related to the golf swing. Most importantly, they are a fantastic, fun group to work with, making the commitment to ongoing fitness an enjoyable and highly productive experience. Casey is an exceptional Doctor of Physical Therapy, a specialized performance expert, and a compassionate healer. His deep clinical knowledge, combined with his dedicated support through a challenging three-year neurological recovery, made a measurable, life-changing difference. I wholeheartedly recommend Casey and Impact Health and Performance to anyone facing complex neurological or musculoskeletal rehabilitation, especially those looking to return to high-level physical activities like golf. Or, even those who just want to improve their ability to swing the golf club and have fun doing so.

To put it simply... Casey has changed my life. After years of battling chronic hip and shoulder pain I felt like I had run out of options. I had already tried everything possible and was ready to give up when I came across Casey and his completely different approach to dealing with chronic pain. Casey took the time to actually listen to me and put together a plan to get me feeling better. It wasn't easy but after working with him and now also continuing to work on my own I am virtually pain free and living my best life now!!
