Just visited iGolf for some games and grub, and I have to say it exceeded all my expectations! The vibe is lively and inviting, making it a fantastic spot for hanging out with friends or family. Horrible experience. They gave us a bunch of clubs with dents in them and as my friend took a shot he clipped it against the (uneven) floor and the club broke in half and went flying hitting my other friend in the foot. Golf clubs are meant to be sturdy and certainly able to take more than that to snap in half. We wanted to be honest and we told the bartender immediately what had happened as we were not at fault and instead of asking if everyone is ok she just says “$100”. Then I guess the bar manger came to us and said he’d check the camera (clearly they did not believe us). After they checked the camera for about 15 minutes they concluded we were telling the truth and bargained for $50. We weren’t going to get in an argument about $50 but wow do you need the money that much? It was pretty empty so I hope they invest it in some marketing perhaps. They added a service charge to the full cost so we paid a 20% tip on the golf tickets which are advertised as $80 per hour, so just a lie essentially, and we were also charged 20% on the $50 fee for breaking an already broken club. Absolute nonsense, if I were the owner I would fire everyone working last night. Apart from that the simulator is pretty good and my friend was going to become a member but because of that he’s going to go elsewhere.
