High Trek Axe

We went for Axe throwing and were quite underwhelmed with the experience and will not go back. Staff were nice but it was very expensive for an hour of throwing and no simple amenities. They only had porta potties, no heaters, the target was incredibly worn which makes it hard for the axe to stick and there was only a little overhang to stay out for the rain. We went as a group of 6 and thought it was a bit of a rip off to have to book two “lanes.” We easily could have all used one lane. For $70/hour/lane we were expecting much more than this offered. I would not recommend it to anyone. Many other places in this area to go axe throwing.

I took my husband here as a surprise. It was GREAT. We will be coming back ! Reasonably priced beer. They had a teach walk you through how to throw an axe. Drinks, snacks. Darts. A pool table. It was SO much fun. I'm already planning my next trip!

Go do it during a warm day during the day! Was fun, for sure. Facility is outdoors (covered) with no heaters and just some string lights to light the target. Little hairy going down a hill in the dark with no lights to see. Also, could use some sort of scoring system (they didn't really know) and either a chalkboard or scorecard. We made up scoring and kept track on our phone. Throwing axes made us feel great though!
