After walking on the C&W Rail Trail we stopped at High Falls Cafe for lunch. We heard about this place for years but don’t get to this area often. Walking in at noon there were only three people sitting at the bar. We were told we could sit anywhere. By the time we left it was busy. The server/bartender apologized a few times for being slow but we never felt that way. She was on top of everything; taking orders, getting drinks and bringing out the food. They have live music on Thursdays and Saturdays. The walls have lots of classic rock record covers and pictures of many musicians. I’ve not been here for the music but I’m sure it’s lots of the classic rock from the albums hanging up. For lunch we shared three things. A Veggie Quesadilla ($14) flour tortilla, cheddar, zucchini, portobello mushrooms, roasted red peppers, tomatoes, and sauteed spinach topped with pesto. The Casey’s Choice ($15) grilled chicken breast, sauteed spinach, portobello mushrooms and melted cheddar on a Kaiser roll. And an order of french fries. High Falls tries to use locally sourced produce and fresh ingredients as possible and it shows. Everything was great. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the atmosphere is rock and roll. If you are ever in the area you should stop in here for a bite.

Don’t order the little neck clam appetizer. It was so salty it wasn’t edible. We sent it back asking chef to try. Waitress came back said “Try ordering again next time you come back “ SERIOUSLY?! Didn’t apologize Didn’t take it off the bill or offer free dessert. Didn’t see owner who came around first time we were there to complain. We ordered personal pizza and fettuccine since it was pasta night. Both OK not spectacular.

Been here a few times. This was the first time I wasn't completely satisfied. Turkey club needs better turkey. Ruben was good. Excellent fries - draft beer was ice cold and fresh. Staff was excellent.
