Heidleburger Drive In

Heidleburger was RIGHT across from Icicle Village, where we were staying so we tried it out. It DID NOT DISAPPOINT! In the outskirt of downtown Leavenworth, this burger joint is so fantastic! I ordered take out: one double Heli bacon burger for my husband and I to split, and a side of deep fried mushrooms and onion rings. Husband was so impressed, that he wanted me to go back a few hours later for dinner and order an entire burger for him! 😂 Patties were great quality with all the fixings. Customer service was stellar! They also have a covered area to eat, complete with misters (for the summer) and heaters (for the winter). Reasonably priced for a tourist town! Busy, but only waited about 20 min each time for our orders. So freshly made and hot upon arrival. Definitely will be back again!

Very friendly! Great outdoor seating. Plus! Soft serve ice cream cones! 🥳 Grab a shake for the road on the way out of town.

My family ate at HeidleBurger Drive In on our way out of Leavenworth on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2025. I usually write detailed, lengthy Google Reviews, but I feel like I can make this one pretty short. HeidleBurger is very average. The burgers aren’t incredible but they are decent. They will do the trick of providing you with nourishment. Prices are probably about right for a location in the middle of a tourist hot spot. They do have kids meals which we ordered for my children (8 y.o. and 5 y.o.). We did plan to eat outside at the picnic tables but the flies were too overwhelming so we ate in our car. Bottom line: this place is solid if you want a quick serving of burgers and fries but don’t expect anything gourmet. 🍔
