John has been my instructor for nearly a decade, and through that time with John's coaching we've hit every golf goal. He is genuinely interested in seeing his students improve, and he is honest and candid about what you need to do to get better. If you are serious about improving your game and want to be coached by an instructor with a long track record and who doesn't take short cuts, John is the instructor for you.

John Hobbins is an exceptionally skilled and committed golf instructor. He is a renowned putting coach, but I have mostly worked with him on the full swing at his simulator facility. Over about two years seeing him, my distance and consistency have improved vastly, and I’ve gone from around a 16 to a low of a 10 handicap this last season, with steady progress continuing recently over off-season months. I’m so glad to have found such an excellent and gifted teacher.

If you want to improve your game, a visit to John is well worth your time. He is equally adept at teaching beginners as kids and golf obsessed weekend warriors, like myself. I have taken lessons with no planned agenda (he just works on the biggest fault in my swing) and others where I come with a laundry list of issues and he checks through them one by one. Unlike many other instructors there is no ego. He only wants you to get better and enjoy the game more. The studio space is excellent. Never too crowded, with ample space to warm up before a lesson. And John typically has flexible hours to fit your work / family schedule.
