Went in today to have my Cobra F7 iron loft adjusted. I had marked and tested each club and knew the loft needed raising. I’m not a professional fitter and did not know how much they needed adjusted. The fitter - 60-65 yo short grey hair and glasses was an absolute jerk. After I paid for the fitting I requested a refund due to the fitters attitude. Went down to Golf Village and the nicest guy Banks recommended Edwin Watts at Carmel Commons. Looking forward to a courteous professional experience.

Leaving this review from the parking lot. This place has just about the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. Every employee gave us the impression they did not want to help us with a simple shaft replacement. Not sure if a staff member died, or they were all called in on an off day, but I’ll never be back here lol. Headed to Dicks Sporting Goods now.

Drove up from Chester a couple of months ago and bought a used club for some $50+ tax. Tried it out at the driving range the next day and just could not hit it. It was pretty but simply not the right shaft-flex. Intended to return it forthwith but a family matter prevented a timely attempt. Still, I thought there might be a chance for a refund or store credit, you know, that “goodwill towards the customer” stuff (a) so the customer will come back and see us and/or (b) tell others to come see us. Anywho I went in today to find out. The big guy told me flat out “no way’. Said he’d get in trouble with the owner if he “did something stupid” like that. “Something stupid” like working with a customer to arrive at a somewhat reasonable and amicable resolution? He then said that he could offer a store credit at a steep discount. How much of a credit? $10 freaking dollars. Was insulted and moved to laughter at the same time. Couldn’t offer at least half aye? I know I was outside the 30-day return window but we’re talking about a USED club NOT a carton of eggs. I bought it for $50 dollars, hit it some 20 times, and dude offers to buy it back for a lousy $10, as if it’d break the business and end his career if he’d offered something reasonable <-- HOGWASH & My goodness gracious!! .. Moving on --> I’m currently exploring getting fittings for a new set; and please guess who won’t be exploring this with me? Taking the low-road with a customer is not cool. Caveat emptor. Take care folks because you’re not getting any portion of your money back if something doesn’t suit, and I’m not making this up, --> it’s their written policy.
