Gopher's Indoor Golf (Located inside The Mill Works)

Great affordable place to go for a few hours. The simulators were Trackman, and just like any other place I've gone to that uses them. There is only one mat to hit from. No rough, sand trap, or any other modified turf. The owner suggested turning off putting, which was a great suggestion. On the back simulator, the clearance for Lefty golfers was tight.. we had to remove two bags from the bag holders so he could swing. Tall lefties, or long armed lefties may find it difficult to swing safely. Overall a great place.

Great spot to try out indoor golf. The simulators worked great we started off on a driving range and then hit some courses. BYOB in case you want to really destroy your chances of hitting a ball straight.

Nobody there on a Saturday afternoon. You need to figure it out for yourself. My wife and I had to hit from the black tips as there was no easy way to change it. XGolf is the way to go. Not even close.

This place is very good for a golf junkie like me however….you really need to be experienced on Trackman. I am so it was great. If you have never used trackman by yourself you could easily get frustrated. Go to YouTube and look at some tutorials. Also there are no amenities other than vending machines. So if you want food and drinks it’s byo. Also you’ll need your own tv streaming account to watch sports on tv. So if you’re looking for one of those golf sports bar experiences this ain’t it. but if you’re looking to hit balls on trackman, practice, or play a round, bring a group of guys drink some beers bring your own wings and have the place to yourself is it!

I have always liked Gophers and found the staff helpful. The one thing that I would change would be getting more cushioning under the hitting surface. It seems like there is not much give between the hitting mat and the underlying concrete floor, which makes it very difficult to simulate the feel of an iron shot on a grass surface. If that were addressed it would be my favorite nearby sim because I love trackman.
