What if … A golf instructor could have you take one swing and he would instantly be able to compare your swing against your choice of model golfers. Golftec can do this. They have developed a system they call Optimotion that takes video and generates a 3D computer model of your swing. This allows them to track individual body parts in 3D space and compare them to the model swing. And, if that isn’t enough, the instructor is shown a dashboard which shows each key body part/position. If all is well, everything is green. If something is amiss, that point is highlighted with a change in colour and the amount of correction suggested (inches or degrees) is clearly shown. I have played golf for over 50 years, and I have never been able consistently play a draw. My miss has always been high and right. Driver distance has always been sub-optimal because my angle of attack was neutral. No matter how hard I tried I could never hit a draw or have a positive angle of attack. Using the information provided by the Optimotion system my Golftec instructor was able to instantly show me where my swing was sub optimal. As he provided guidance on how I should change my swing pattern the Optimotion system tracked our progress. After 5 lessons and maybe 100 swings in total I have completely changed my swing pattern. Everything is now a push/draw. Driver numbers are ideal with angle of attack being 5 up. What my Golftec instructor aided by their Optimotion system has been able to accomplish in such a short time is nothing short of amazing. P.S. I recently shot a 34, my lowest score ever in my weekly men’s night competition!

GolfTech has been great for me. I worked with Zac and helped me shrink my handicap from a 16 to an 11. The Golftech technology for me was great because I'm a visual learner- I can see where I was going wrong an create club positions on the takeaway/downswing to help address them. If you're a technical golfer, the machines have all the numbers you need to understand areas of improvement. I'd recommend it for anyone looking to improve their game.

I have been using the lesson and practice services at GOLFTEC Mississauga for about 6-7 months now and it has truly been a rewarding experience. My instructor Zac Moore is an adaptable and patient teacher who I think can help golfers of any and all skill levels. His understanding of the game is thorough which allows him to get at the core of any problem you are facing. Each lesson will build on the last with results that you will be able to see for yourself.
