Golf Headquarters of Amarillo

Amarillo is fortunate to have such a well stocked golf store! I’m always greeted by one or more of the staff when I walk in. I have not been fitted for clubs here but my friends have and their experiences were all positive. They have competitive prices everyday, expertise on all of their products and all of the major brands (Callaway, Titleist, Ping, Taylormade , Odyssey, LAB, Scotty Cameron, Good Good, Breezy Hats and more). They also sell shafts, do regripping and other services. I’ve been to all the big box golf stores and Lisa has put everything thing you need and nothing you don’t right here in Amarillo. Keep up the good work Lisa, Josh, Gerald and all the rest of the team! Thanks!

Golf Headquarters in Amarillo is great! All the employees are friendly and helpful when I come in and their prices on regrips and adjustments are really great! Josh was especially helpful in getting me fit for a new driver and getting my irons adjusted to where I need them. I don’t normally write reviews on Google but they go above and beyond every time I go in they deserve a 5 star review!

I have been here multiple times and recently bought a set of used callaway irons from here. I got them regripped and I liked the grip so much I took a few other clubs to get grips matched. I got super excited about the customer appreciation they were having, bought multiple tickets for the drawing and was 5th or 6th in line when they opened Sunday. As we walked in we were handed scratch offs for a little prize for being there early. Boom, mine was a free pair of shoes. the ticket had already been scratched off so I assumed I was an instant winner of sorts. One of the employees heard me talking about it and asked me to get out of line and took my ticket, I assumed we were going to pick some out but instead brought me a new scratch off and walked away. I mentioned this to another employee and he just said that's odd and did not seem to care. I struggled with the thought that these people would just screw a customer over on customer appreciation day, but sure enough. I unfortunately do not feel appreciated and am astonished at the way it was handled. Edit: As all can see, the owner responded to this review. The response sounded more like a rant then a concerning owner. I'm not quite sure they completely read my review. I would have been open to conversation, but this felt more as a blame the customer situation. What a shame.
