I recently visited this location for a club fitting and was fortunate to work with both Mickey and Jordan. I very much appreciate the time they took to understand my swing and performance goals, and recommended equipment that truly suited my game. What impressed me most was their genuine approach to focus on noticeable performance and not attempting to upsell or push unnecessary gear. It was clear they cared more about helping me improve than making a sale. In a day and age where there are fitting companies seeking to upsell in every area imaginable, I found chatting with the folks from Gold Galaxy refreshing. If you're looking for a personalized, honest, and knowledgeable fitting experience, I highly recommend visiting Golf Galaxy!
Cameron at Golf Galaxy in Falls Church has truly exceeded my expectations during my visits. His recommendations were spot-on, especially when I transitioned from steel to graphite shafts for my irons. He had a trade-in set featuring the exact TaylorMade P790 club heads I play, and with some in-store research, irons were paired with an excellent graphite shaft. Trading in my old irons was an easy decision, thanks to the great value he offered. Additionally, Cameron suggested cutting down my Titleist four wood, which significantly improved the feel and swing weight I was looking for. Now, I feel much more confident reaching for my four wood for those crucial second shots on par 5s. I first met Cameron at the beginning of summer, and since then, I've returned several times. Each visit has been a pleasure, with Cameron consistently providing exceptional customer service. I highly recommend seeking him out for any golf-related needs!
Very poor customer service. I purchased a club that was going to be shipped to me directly and was told 3 to 5 business days. I remember this being the timeframe because the next weekend was approaching and thought the club would be there in time to play, however, the club did not arrive and when I called to ask where the club was in transit, I was told it would be another 10 days before it was even shipped. When I requested a refund the manager came on the phone, Cameron Steiner, and told me that I was wrong, they would never tell a customer 3 to 5 days on a special order club. He is incorrect because I was told that very thing. And furthermore, when I tried to get a refund, he said that I had to come in the store to get the refund, even though the club had not shipped yet. He was completely apathetic about the whole situation and was quite rude not acknowledging this was a big inconvenience and their mistake from the get-go. In today’s online retail world the only reason to go into a brick and mortar store is for exceptional customer service. Golf Galaxy and Chris Steiner both failed spectacularly at that. I would not recommend purchasing anything from the store unless you’re looking for a very poor customer experience.
