Golf Galaxy

Giving a big shout out to Brendan at the Columbia Golf Galaxy location. I was there yesterday to purchase a putter for a Christmas gift, and he approached me to offer assistance. He was super friendly and helped me locate exactly what I was looking for. He then went above and beyond to help me with the transaction and made sure to provide the correct pricing, taking his time to be sure everything was accurate. I felt like I was an important customer (even though I know nothing about golf)! I was in the same store one other time in the past few weeks and all of the employees that I met were also very helpful and kind. They were attentive and welcoming without any pressure. Great shopping experience both times.

Jim provided a great golf lesson and went above and beyond to help my game out. He immediately identified what could improve in my swing and gave an endless number of tips and drills to help address it.

I came into the store with my wife for the first time for the purpose of purchasing a pair of shoes. Two salesmen walked around the front desk and saw me and my wife while we were at the shoe section but never once made the effort to say hello or assist us. Finally I walked to the cashier to ask for assistance and he offered to help us. He briefly walked over to the shoe section with me but stated he had to get back to the cashier. My wife and I left the store. We were in the store for 15 minutes and not one staffer greeted us or offered assistance. No worries. I will never patronize this store. Maybe because we are black was the issue.
