In town for work and saw on Google Maps that this place was closed… But nothing about it being closed was on the MWR site. So, decided to check it out tonight after I got out of work. Stopped by the base gym to buy some tickets for the ball machine and ended up purchasing a key. For me, the key gives me flexibility to hit more balls if I’m feeling it or working on something specific vice running out of baskets after hours. Grabbed some beverages and headed to the range around 1730… Ended up hitting balls until 2100. Lights are solid in the Bay Area but there are no lights down range. No big deal… Great option if you don’t get out early enough to drive to Fallon Golf Course and wanna work on your swing or simply hit some balls to help you forget the workday. Bonus: There’s also a small, synthetic turf chipping/putting area.
Just a standard driving range.
