Golf Club of Quincy

The Golf Club of Quincy isn’t just a beautiful course nestled in the heart of Gadsden County, it’s a cornerstone of community. With its rolling greens, peaceful scenery, and welcoming atmosphere, the club offers more than just a great game of golf, it offers connection. We are incredibly grateful for the Golf Club of Quincy’s continued support of Robert F. Munroe Day School. From hosting fundraising events to cheering on our mission, they’ve shown time and again that they’re committed to investing in the future of our students and teachers. The Club Manager Ben, goes above and beyond to make everyone feel at home. Their passion for this place and the people in it is evident in every detail. Whether it’s a community event, a casual round of golf, or just a sunset view from the clubhouse, you can feel the heart behind everything they do. We’re proud to call the Golf Club of Quincy a community partner, and we’re even prouder to have them as neighbors and friends.

Several coworkers have been talking about this place the past couple of months, but due to my work schedule, I never got the chance to try it out. I recently had the opportunity to try the lunch at the Golf Club of Quincy this past Wednesday and it didn't disappoint. I was so busy eating, I only took one photo. This is unlike me, because I normally take and post numerous photos during my reviews. I started out with mixed vegetables, rice, ox tails, and fried chicken. Needless to say, my next plate consisted of the same items. I finished up with dessert, which was banana pudding with fresh sliced strawberries on the side. Everything I tried on the buffet was delicious. I tried not to overeat during my lunch break, but I did. 😂 You'll definitely want to add this place to your favorite places like I did. I wish I took more photos and I promise I'll post more pictures on my next visit. I'm not a golfer, but I may start playing just to enjoy the buffet afterwards. Oh yeah, it only cost $18!!!! 🤤

​The course layout is genuinely neat and challenging, offering a solid round of golf. However, the overall course condition was less than ideal, which was disappointing and takes away from the experience. ​Worse than the conditions, the customer service we received ruined the entire experience and dictates this one-star rating. My party was celebrating my wedding day, and the employee checking us in acted like an absolute jerk. He was a smartass, provided zero hospitality, and was tossing our credit cards back to us across the counter. ​This kind of disrespectful and unprofessional behavior is completely unacceptable, especially in a service environment. The person working the front desk was enough of a liability to ensure we will not be returning until management addresses the staff attitude. Be prepared for a rude welcome.
