Glenview Country Club

We are visiting The Villages and decided to have dinner at Glenview Champions Country Club. Our waitress, Samantha was very friendly and helpful. We had the specials they were offering. I had the seafood gnocchi and it was incredibly delicious. We have eaten at several restaurants in the villages and this was the best meal we have had here. The price was very reasonable too. The manager, Carolyn stopped by and checked on our satisfaction. She was very kind and told us about a loyalty program they have. We promptly signed up for it as we will be moving here. We will definitely be regular customers in the near future. The service, staff and food was A+ and I would highly recommend the Glenview Champions Country Club.

Great food and drinks. Great service and atmosphere. The wedge salad was the biggest salad I've ever seen! We made a reservation for 8 and had no waiting. It's not much to complain about, but I wish their wine glasses were nicer. You pay pretty high end prices for cheap glasses.

My mom and I decided to check out this spot on Taco Tuesday for their tacos, hoping for a fun, casual meal. Unfortunately, it fell far short of expectations. The tacos were a major disappointment—the chicken and beef fillings tasted exactly like pre-packaged, microwave-ready meat from a bag, lacking any fresh flavor or authentic seasoning. We both couldn't finish them. Service was equally underwhelming. When we asked a staff member for directions to the bathroom, the response was curt and unhelpful. Our waitress took a surprisingly long time to arrive, despite the restaurant being nearly empty, and explained that "no one told her we were there." The overall vibe felt unwelcoming from the start. To make matters worse, our bill came out 25% higher than the actual total. When we called to point out the error, the handling felt evasive and unprofessional—no apology or quick resolution was offered, which left us questioning the integrity. The manager's demeanor didn't help; he came across as slick and unapproachable, adding to the off-putting atmosphere. Overall, this was a regrettable experience—we won't be returning. There are plenty of better options for tacos out there!
