Glen Oaks Country Club

We had an incredible experience hosting our wedding at Glen Oaks this past September. The venue itself is gorgeous; we loved the huge windows in the reception room that provided beautiful natural light, the bar/parlor are classic and elegant, and the outdoor ceremony site is perfection. We barely had to do any decorating for the ceremony site and it was breathtaking. The bridal suite is a huge bonus of this venue; it's like a little apartment with multiple rooms and was perfect for getting ready the morning of. The food was very good, and there are tons of options when it comes to customizing your menu. We did have a handful of guests say their steak was a little too rare for their liking, but we also had a lot of people say their steak was perfect; that was the only comment we received regarding the food besides how delicious it was. The staff at Glen Oaks was top notch. Every single person we interacted with was very friendly, polite, and professional. In the months leading up to our wedding, Brian and Bill always returned our phone calls/emails within a day and answered all of our questions. They were flexible with our ideas and helped bring our vision to life! On the day of our wedding, Bill really helped make sure our day ran smoothly (we had everything go off without a hitch!) and was there to address any issues we had. The servers and bartenders were all very nice and dinner service was prompt and timely. I really can't think of anything that went "wrong," it was that good of a day! We truly appreciate all the hard work everybody at Glen Oaks put into helping our wedding day come together, and would recommend them to anybody searching for a wedding venue without hesitation!

Our outside ceremony and indoor reception was perfect! The outdoor ceremony area is private and just stunning. Indoor is beautiful with mahogany wood throughout and the high ceilings and large beautiful windows. Bill the manger is absolutely amazing. We received so many compliments on the ceremony and reception. We selected the premium package and went with the buffet. The food was delicious and the sweet table was incredible. They served so much food everyone left full. We received so many compliments. Last minute I bought white to go containers for the sweet table and I am so glad I did. There was so many desserts people were packing up to-go boxes and there was still plenty of amazing desserts. The grooms suite and bridal suite are a must. It was so nice and convenient. The staff an bartenders were amazing as well. I would defintely recommend to anyone.

Waiting in line with name on list, and then told im not aloud to stand inside. Was watching a glimpse of golf on t.v and looking at merchandise. Golf here 3 times a week, or I USED to. No one else in building but me and 5 others waiting outside. And how I was talked to was disrespectful. Unbelievable. Me and the 10 others I know who come here no longer will. Word of mouth travels fast. So....unfortunate.
