Flight Deck Grill & Golf Club

I stumbled upon this hidden gem because I was looking for a place to get my golf fix in during off season in South Tahoe. I figured they wouldn't have any and I'd have to drive far, but there was one super close, I was ecstatic. After researching availability, location, price, reviews of food & drink, this hit all the marks. So I immediately booked 2 hours of sim time using their convenient online system. This place is by the airport with plenty of parking. It's inside another building. They have 2 simulators where you can play while eating, a bar, sitting areas in and out where you can see the runway. The simulators are fun. You can golf, play football, basketball, soccer, dodge ball, etc... we added an extra hour to our initial 2 since we were having so much fun. The food was delicious and you get really good sized portions. We ordered the Vaquero Burger, Nachos, Flat bread. The beer on tap hit the spot. We were well served and attended to. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back, the family had tons of fun. If you're looking for a place to relax without dealing with the overcrowded restaurants elsewhere in the city, give this place a shot, you won't regret it.

Just opened in early July, great location at the SLT airport. We had the wings, bacon/burger, and steak sandwich. All were excellent, I especially enjoyed the steak sandwich...steak was tender, tasty and there was plenty of it! Bread was perfectly matched to the meat and spread. I also enjoyed a local pilsner they had on tap. They have 2 golf simulators in the restaurant, plenty of TV monitors and we got to see a US Army chopper land, while waiting for our food!

Have you heard? The Flight Deck is the best restaurant in South Tahoe for Breakfast, Lunch and amazing service! Seriously, Their breakfast consists of fried chicken and waffles, biscuits and gravy and all the egg combos you can imagine. For lunch, a full menu of sandwiches, steak and the best thick hand pressed burgers in town! Waffle fries are crispy and a real treat. Couple that with a great bar and amazing guy, Johnny Mac behind it (Super knowledgeable and a friendly face too!) and Darby providing cheerful, amazing service at the tables and your in for a real great time. When you have a minute to look away from the 7 large TVs check out the unique views of the airport, trees and mountain range too. What else you could you ask for? Come on down and enjoy?
