Five Iron Golf

I’ve been training with Aida Gonzalez at Five Iron Golf’s FIDI location for nearly two years now, with dozens of lessons under my belt — and I can say without hesitation that she is an exceptional golf coach. What truly sets Aida apart is her ability to adapt to any student’s skill level. Whether you’re just beginning or fine-tuning advanced mechanics, she has an incredible talent for breaking things down in a way that makes sense for you. Every session feels deliberately tailored; she never relies on a one-size-fits-all approach. Over the course of our work together, she has consistently customized training programs and individual lessons to target exactly what I need in my swing, short game, and course strategy at that moment. Her eye for detail is remarkable, and she always finds the right balance between technical instruction, encouragement, and practical drills that lead to real improvement. Aida is patient, knowledgeable, and deeply invested in her students’ progress. Thanks to her coaching, my confidence, mechanics, and overall game have all taken major leaps forward. If you’re serious about developing as a golfer — at any level — you couldn’t ask for a better coach. She is highly experienced with a D1 college background and 20+ years of experience playing golf. Highly, highly recommend.

So fun. Food is good, drinks are good. There’s a putting green and other games to play. Comfortable seating with your simulator. Friendly staff. Music is good and not too loud. Good vibes. Clean bathrooms.

This place has been more than amazing! They have great hours that help make golf fit into your hectic New York schedule. They’re extremely flexible in their pricing and tiers, they’re is a price that works for everybody depending on when you go. I take lessons there with Aida Gonzalez who has been the best instructor I’ve had. She has a great technique to help you feel comfortable, if you were like me and getting back into the “swing” of things. Highly recommend this place to aid in your golf goals!!
