Five Iron Golf – Downtown Detroit is easily the best Five Iron in Michigan, and I’m saying that as someone who basically lives here. As a member, this place has become my home base. The member perks here hit different. Booking is smooth, the tech is top-tier, the events are legit, and the whole setup just makes you want to come back. It’s the perfect mix of getting better at your game while still having a good time, no matter what kind of day you’re walking in with. And the staff… they’re on another level. Everybody knows me, shows love, and keeps the vibe right every time I come in. It never feels forced and they’re just good people who make the whole experience feel personal. It’s the kind of spot where you walk in and immediately feel like you belong. Bottom line: the energy here is modern, fun, and super welcoming. If you want a place that hits the sweet spot of “golf meets social spots bar”, Downtown Detroit’s Five Iron is the spot. Champagne Jr. stamped and approved.

This spot manages to blend high-tech golf simulation with classic duckpin bowling in a way that's incredibly fun and engaging. The golf simulators are top-notch, offering realistic play on world-famous courses—perfect for practicing or a friendly competition. Switching gears to the Duck Pin Bowl area, the vibe is lively and nostalgic. It's a great twist on traditional bowling that everyone in our group loved. Food & Service The food here isn't your average bowling alley fare. The pizza and wings were great—seriously delicious and a perfect complement to the activities. But what really made the experience stand out was the exceptional service. A huge thank you to Annamarie for the great help! She was attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure we had everything we needed, making our visit seamless and incredibly enjoyable.
