Five Iron Golf

I’ve been a member here for a few months and would recommend it to anyone on the fence. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. I’ve been to several 5i locations in chicago and the Bucktown location on Elston is by far the best. The GOLFZON sims are great and the mechanical slope adjustment with multiple terrain pads is unmatched. I would love to see the other locations adopt this system over the current Trackman + stationary mats, I might actually visit them if that were the case!

Spent Valentines Day at 5 Iron Golf in Bucktown. The staff was so kind and helpful and made our experience so much fun. Will definitely be coming back!! Shoutout to Deanna and Phil

If you are familiar with the previous golf sim at this location, I will focus on the differences. Parking is easier, no more app that you need to sign in under, there are designated spots now in the garage. The Sims got upgraded visuals with more upgrades in the works apparently. The new user interface, floor buttons, and ball loading mechanism is much improved. Other than that, the same configuration as before. All solid improvements. The membership structure is a little different, but with walk ons allowed, it may be slightly improved if not equal.

Place was completely understaffed for a Friday night. Took over an hour to order a beer at the bay, then the bar. Literally waved down a guy a few times and was completely ignored. The food was the worst. Burnt hockey puck of a chicken sandwich. Purely inedible and disgusting. Paying for bays and tabs was near to impossible. Management needs to figure it out quick because the price and service are terrible. Get more staff and train them immediately or don’t even offer food. Skip this place and go to top golf instead.

Great experience at FiveIron top shelf hospitality. The bartender Deanna really amped up our Valentine’s Day experience.
