Fiddle And Firkin

Visited Fiddle and Firkin tonight and had the ribs,wings with salad— was delicious. Our server Jasmine was awesome: friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely recommend!

Support Local is the best way to get to know your new community. So I made it a priority to walk into Fiddle and Firkin, grab a seat and enjoy a meal. I spoke with patrons at other tables, at the bar, and with the staff. What I walked in for was a meal. What I walked out with was a smile. Coming from Toronto, a metropolis, and having a bi-coastal upbringing between here and Italy, where everyone greets one another on the street, and small talk turns quickly into friendships, it's what I appreciated most in Preston. And later when I reached out to local businesses asking for support to offer a meal, beverage and warm winter essentials to those in need, this local business hesitated not to support. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted and was told we could sit anywhere we wanted. It’s a smaller restaurant/pub so tables were close together but we didn’t mind because we had great conversations with the other customers. It seemed that they have 2 different menus, one specials menu and a regular menu. Service was great, our servers were very patient and nice. The food was absolutely amazing. We both ordered the ribs, wings, and salad for just $22! It was a great deal for three items and the salad was pretty big for a side salad. It was very filling, we couldn’t finish it all and had to bring home some leftovers! We were very impressed on how fresh the salad was, and how hot, tender, and delicious the ribs and wings were. We will definitely return to try other items on their menu.
