Faucett Brothers Activity Center

Weight room has a serious overcrowding problem. Not enough equipment/free weights to easily come in and freely exercise and the facility doesn’t seem to have the urgency to want and correct the problem. The majority of people who do show up usually have no idea what they’re doing, which leads to a lot of the equipment being out of commission for sometimes months (attached photo) before it’s repaired. With the new year coming up, it’s only going to get worse and will be practically impossible to come here and use the weight room unless drastic changes are made and a significant amount of weights / equipment is added.

This was my first time at this PARA facility, and it was a very pleasant atmosphere. The front desk personnel was friendly, very attentive, and informative. They facility was very clean and it has a full kitchen. They have several rooms you can rent out for parties. They also have a pavilion. My party was in the "Kid Zone" room and we had it for 6 hours . We had an enjoyable time with the kids, and we also had a chance to look around the facility . I must not forget the grounds, very, very clean, no complaints there. We will be considering this facility for future events.

The facility is nice but the one of the staff members is not friendly at all. I am here attending a volleyball tournament at this facility, which our volleyball league has paid to use this location. In between games I was walking around the upstairs walking track to get in some exercise because I had a 3 hour drive to get here. Let me mention that NOONE was on the walking track except me. The unfriendly staff member came over to me while I was walking & said “you can’t use the walking track unless you pay me $10”. That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. We travel to many locations similar to this one and NO OTHER facility has ever had ANY issue with us using the walking track or gym, etc. Now I just waiting for that old biddy to come tell me I can’t use the restrooms while we’re here. 😱
