Fairway Zone Sports Bar and Lounge

Great place to hang out after work for happy hour or on the weekends to watch multiple games on their TVs. Swung by after landing back in the Bay Area and got some food and beer to drink. Tried the smash burger and it was good. The Thai crack wings were our favorite. Super spicy but had such good flavor. I just wished I had rice there to eat with the wings. Staff here were attentive and nice. Place is super spacious with lots of tables to sit. Plenty of parking as well. We'll have to come back to try some of their HH deals.

Stellar service from the team here at Fairway Zone Sports and Bar Lounge. The vibe, 10/10. The cleanliness 10/10. The well-chosen menu and equipment, 10/10. The stiff drinks, 10/10. Special thanks to Lindon who helped us with getting us set up. My "Semi" pro friend said that your simulator was super accurate. Like he is a compass himself. Simulator has left and right-handed techniques, and the staff also had both left- and right-handed high-quality clubs to use. We will be back with our team to host a fun company outing. Thanks again!

The new menu start tomorrow but this is the nice place for watching the football games. I will tryout the new menu soon. Highly recommend for people love football.

I went here for Monday Night Football to watch the San Francisco 49ers, and honestly this is one of the best bars in the Bay Area for watching football. The venue is excellent. Great food, packed crowd, strong energy, and an awesome sound system. There are TVs everywhere plus a big projector, so there isn’t a bad seat in the place. When there’s a touchdown they even play lights, which is a nice touch. They just need a fog horn lol. If you want a seat or a table, come early, because it fills up fast for big games. The owners are great and clearly care about the experience. On top of that, they have mini golf! Solid bar, great setup, great vibe. Everything you’d want for football. Highly recommend.

Picking a bar near SJC airport that offers decent beers or cocktails was not easy, especially one that would open until midnight or later. Saw some photos of the cocktails here and thought they were decent enough to give it a try. I didn’t realize it was in the same plaza as Echo Church until I arrived. Of course, when I attended Echo Church’s sessions, RedZone wasn’t open. Since we all had dinner, food was not our priority. We did order the crispy silken tofu and it was fried to perfection. Was going to order the crispy pork intestines, but their kitchen closed at 11pm. Maybe next time. Cloud 9 was bourbon based so it was my first choice. Quite pretty with the angostura foam, and the drink was tasty, but barely tasted the bourbon. We then moved on to the Pink Derby that had tequila, grapefruit juice, honey and lemon. Again, tasty and a bit sweet. We really wanted to try the Golden Sunrise, but they were out of aperitivo. The bartender asked us if we saw any substitute on the menu and we did not. We then decided on Dub-splash. Just by looking at the ingredients and from the previous drinks, I already knew this was going to be a sweet drink. I was right and this was a bit too sweet for me. I understand that bars need to make money so they use cheap base spirits in their cocktails. But as a home bartender and someone who likes cocktails, the drinks felt the same: tasty, sweet and cannot taste much alcohol. Maybe it’s my personal preference, but I would want to taste more of the base spirit. Having said that, I would still go back. The bartender was very nice and friendly. The food and cocktails were tasty.
