Customer Reviews
I drove up from the Twin Cities this past weekend to play Enger Park Golf Course and was pleasantly surprised by the shape it was in. From what I understand, they recently installed a new irrigation system, so the course is still recovering a bit, but overall it was in great condition. The greens rolled true and were fantastic. When I first arrived at the range, I met Sam, who was working on the ball machine. He was extremely friendly, and we had a great conversation. I later learned he’s the Assistant Manager, and he even came out during my round to check in and see how things were going. That kind of hospitality is rare in the big cities and honestly made the experience stand out, it gave the whole visit a welcoming, small-town feel that would make me come back again. The course itself has tons of character with stunning views of Lake Superior and the St. Louis River. Overall, Enger Park is a gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable round in Duluth.
We were apprehensive about golfing Enger course. The course was in desperate need of TLC the last couple years, so we were mostly playing Nemadji. We were glad we gave Enger another try! The conditions were excellent! We had a great 9 hole game. The course still needs work on the cart paths ( in the works I was told) and the clubhouse is in need of updating. Otherwise a 10/10.
The course was fun to play. I liked the character and enjoyment of the course being hilly. That being said...the greens were in really rough shape with sparse if any grass and discolored. Speed of the greens was good. Also the poor fairways were pretty beat up and brown as well as the ground being extremely hard in places. Needless to say the place needs some rain badly!
