What an great addition the Beaufort! Amazing indoor entertainment without the bugs or rain! Perfect for date night or family day! Become a member and you will not regret it!

While clearly in its infancy, Egret & Iron offers a much needed reprieve from the often unbearable Beaufort weather: a golf-sim experience. While bookable on GolfNow like a normal course, you won't find rain checks, nor, contrary to my photo, will you use golf carts. You will, however, find rentable clubs and a selection of beers and wines. Bring your own clubs or don't. Bring your own food. Playing here will run you a pretty penny, especially when you compare it to plentiful "real deal" golf everpresent in the Lowcountry. However, you do not pay ~$50-60/hr for a simple round of golf at Egret & Iron—you pay for the instant feedback and efficiency provided by the Trackmen and for the socialization of the lounge milieu. Regardless, you decide if you see the value. Some areas are in need of improvement (7/27/25). For one, the hitting mats need to be adjusted. I found myself standing on the seam between the mat and astroturf simulator floor while shooting. However, the owner is aware and has apparently already ordered new mats! Additionally, I think the whole place would be bettered with additional acoustic padding. It's a little echoey and perhaps barren in decoration. A simple annoyance that will lessen as the Club ages. In sum, I will return.

Great for golfers of all skill levels. I just became a member, and I absolutely love this place! You can choose from so many great golf courses to play. I've mainly been using practice mode which is fantastic and gives you all sorts of data about every shot you hit. Chad and Andrea are so friendly and welcoming, too. I love what they've created, and I'd strongly encourage any golfer to check this place out!
