Drivers Club

This review is long overdue but the Porsche Studio/Drivers Club absolutely deserves 100000000 stars. My husband and I had our wedding after party here last September and had the BEST time. We are still getting compliments to this day from our guests. Denise and her team were more than accommodating and supported us every step of the way. Their staff was incredibly friendly and made sure our vendors knew exactly where to set up and made sure they had everything they needed. If you need an after party location or a fun space to host an event, we cannot recommend the Drivers Club enough. We are already thinking about future special events we can host at Porsche Studio Portland!

We just hosted my husband's 50th birthday party here last night and had the best time! The venue is upscale, roomy, and so fun! Our guests enjoyed the games and we were able to bring our own food and drinks. Our guests raved about how much fun they had and how impressed they were with the set up there! I worked with Fantasia as our event coordinator and she is outstanding! She's so kind and professional! We exchanged many emails throughout the party planning process and she frequently responded to answer my questions within minutes! She's thorough, organized, friendly, and she made the planning process a breeze, helping me with all of the details to make sure it was a perfect party, and it was! The only negative of the whole evening occurred right as we arrived. This was a surprise party for my husband and Fantasia and I had worked out all the details for my husband and I to "check in for a racing simulator appointment" followed by us going upstairs for the big surprise moment. The person who was downstairs to facilitate the check in (I think his name was Kevin) pretended not to know what I was talking about when I arrived for our "appointment". This created unnecessary stress, as I had worked so hard to create a seemless surprise moment for my husband. When I followed up with him by saying that Fantasia had arranged the appointment for us, he claimed that Fantasia wasn't working that day, which was a lie. He quickly pulled a "just kidding" and then proceeded to help us get checked in but that was unprofessional. It created unnecessary stress for me at a moment when I was expecting professionalism. I spent several moments panicking trying to figure out how I was going to solve a problem that didn't actually exist. I guess it was a "prank"? I bring this up because I hope that someone can speak to Kevin about this because from a customer perspective, this was unappreciated. That was the only moment of negativity the entire night. There was also a young man who assisted us with the race car simulators the whole night. I didn't catch his name but he was helpful, professional, and friendly. I would not hesitate to book another event here. With the exception of the check in moment I mentioned, the night was perfect!

This was the perfect venue to throw my husband a surprise birthday party! Denise was wonderful to work with and made the process very easy. Our guests loved the golf and racing simulators. I loved being able to use the TV’s to display pictures that brought back so many memories over the years! The night was perfect! Thank you to all the staff for helping us put it together!
