Customer Reviews
Wanted to post a review on the course since it seems most reviews are on the restaurant. Haven’t played here in about 8-10 years. Was good to come back out after a sunny couple of weeks when the course wasn’t so wet. I’ve been wanting to play here for the past month but I know that if it rains a lot, the course stays extremely wet and is harder to find balls in the fairway, etc. I would probably give it 5 stars if a few things were fixed. The biggest is the rough. I know it’s county owned/maintained but in most places, the rough is knee high and thick. You have no chance of finding a ball in it. And on a couple holes (most specifically Hole 2) the area directly in front of the green (probably about 30ft worth) is not cut and if you hit it short, there’s a good chance of losing you ball in the middle of the hole. On top of that #2 is a big uphill hole so hitting short is most likely what is going to happen. Other than the roughs, the fairways were decent, the greens were pretty good and a decent stimp, and the course is wide open. We played the first 9 without anyone in front or behind so it was a nice chill round and not packed. Will be back sooner than 10 years this time!
This review is overdue. I was at this venue for a graduation celebration on Saturday, 12-17-22. It was my first time but I loved the venue and how the space was used. There were people there for golfing as well, but the parking was adequate for both events.
Amazing service, calming atmosphere....food was exceptional! I highly recommend this little out of the way place-indoor and outdoor seating, along with a bar as well.
