Cripple Creek Golf and Country Club

What a lovely place! The staff was super nice and attentive in EVERY WAY! Fantastic.

Unfortunately the course is in really bad shape. Basically the entire course is ground under repair. They lost a lot of the grass. They are plugging it and trying to regrow grass but the plugs are laying everywhere. Some areas of sod have been completely removed down to the sand. The greens are in pretty good shape. Very disappointing to pay the $155 guest fee and not be able to play real golf. You have to move your ball away from the plugs or onto some patches of grass. Many more great options in the area for less. I wish we would have know the condition of the course before we paid. Hopefully they can get it back. It might be fun to play if it were playable.

We are brand new members and visited CC several times this weekend. We did family dinner Friday night with 9 people including 3 little kids, Saturday night the wife and I attended our first event for the black and white party. And Sunday we did a big family luncheon/brunch to celebrate my Mother in Laws 70th birthday 11 people including 5 KIDS made serving our family very challenging. Your staff was absolutely incredible, kind, flexible, and very professional all weekend long. Please pass along my warmest thanks to the staff who served us on Friday night for dinner, Saturday night at the party, and Sunday for the brunch. We are very happy we joined and enjoying the club already.
