Château Cartier Hotel & Resort Gatineau - Ottawa

The staff are fantastic! Everyone from the greeting at reception, the spa and restaurant representatives treated us like royalty. So helpful, cheerful and kind. It was refreshing to have this kind of treatment. I spend a good portion of my work life on the road and travelling across the country. Average yearly hotel stays are over 100 nights so I feel like I have a lot of experience with service delivery. I have already talked to my friends and collogues about this experience and I am looking at bringing more customers to experience this wonderful place. Thank you so much for all you and the team does. It really makes a difference.

Everything was great. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Would love to have taken them home. You could work on the heating. It was extremely hot even when I tried turning the heat down it didn’t do too much. I would have opened the window but there was no knob to open it. Enjoyed the spa and Ono restaurant. Will definitely return.

Good hotel. Cannot say enough good things about the Koena Spa! A must visit and I will definitely back. Hotel needs a bit of attention. Came for a girls weekend. Wifi was terribly frustrating. So slow. No excuse these days for this. Room was very warm and stuffy. Could not regulate heat. Management could not help other than open our window for us. For safety reasons they could not leave the window crank with us. They said boiler would not allow a/c to engage. We ate at the Ono restaurant. Food was fantastic. Waitress was very good but overwhelmed with too many tables to look after. Took us 35 min to order and half hour after ordering received our food before our drinks. This is definitely an almost 4 star for me!! All in all would recommend. They just need some “tweaks”!!!
