Callawassie Island Clubhouse

I have played some great courses from Pinehurst to the Ocean Course at Kiawah to some phenomenal private clubs, I have to tell you this was second to none! I won a raffle in which had expired and the club pro was kind enough to honor it! I was able to play a couple other private courses in the area as well however this was the best experience. The beauty of the new redesigned magnolia 9 was unfathomable! The conditions were impeccable I looked at my friend and we felt guilty seeing that we were practically the only divots on the golf course. At times I was challenged to even focus on my game, that being said, this course was very fair as I shot a respectable 82 playing from the blues. The abundance of wildlife here is surreal it's pure serenity at its best! This would be a joy to play in retirement every day and not get bored. Hoping to come back and play the Dogwood redesign one day. Thanks to the entire staff, Top Notch 👍

Attended my cousin's son's wedding. It was a wonderful event. The building and grounds are beautiful. The club house overlooks the marsh and water. It was an incredible location for their wedding. The reception was also at the clubhouse. The food was amazing and there was a great variety. There was only one problem that the staff had no control over. Those lovely low country gnats were on the attack!

I attended a wedding here and the facility and service was absolutely exceptional. This is a very upscale and private venue. It offers great views and both indoor and outdoor reception areas.
