Bunker Hills Event Center

I do not recommend this place. The service here is pretty bad. They provide the cheapest tea bags you can find in this country. However, this place is expensive! The personnel is not professional with very bad attitude. The person at the main entrance was sitting at the chair and didn’t even greet us even after I said hello to him. The waiters are rude. Witnessed one of them yelled at an immigrant guest that didn’t speak English just because she wanted to take food with her that was already PAID for… Unbelievable… The waitress spilled dressing over my iPhone when took my plate away, and didn’t even apologize… It felt uncomfortable at this place. At this price level, this kind of service is totally unacceptable!

We had our wedding at Bunker Hills and it was amazing! Working with Cambrie was so great - she always quickly responded to my numerous emails throughout the planning process (like within 20 mins - amazing!). Everyone on the staff was so helpful - they even re-frosted our cutting cake after the frosting got messed up in transit! We loved the getting ready spaces (PGA room for the girls and conference room for the guys), the gorgeous (and private!) ceremony space, and all of the beautiful locations we could use for photos. The food, cake, and drinks were perfection! We are so thankful we chose Bunker Hills to make our dream wedding day a reality.

We were there for a wedding. The venue was pretty, but there were several issues. Some of the outside chairs had rips in them. The mother of the bride sat on a chair, her dress was drenched and stained before the wedding. SHE duct taped them to protect other guests. I was not impressed with the chicken and the veggies were tepid. My husband said his beef was better. Several people cancelled at the last minute. The venue still charged for these plates, but did not make them available to anyone or allow the bride and groom to send them home with anyone. In theory this is due to health regulations even though people in the attached restaurant can bring their leftovers home. Several bottles of wine were not opened. The bride and groom were neither allowed to take these home (again, UNOPENED) nor have their cost reimbursed. Did they go home with the staff, managers or are they being resold to the next event? The moral of this story is make sure guests have full rain gear to protect their behinds, have them drink all the wine before dinner so they don't notice the quality and temp of the food. If this were catered by Joe Bob for a couple thousand dollars it would be great. For the price charged, however,it should have been a lot better.
