Bronson Athletic Club - Kalamazoo

Bronson Athletic Club has a lot of bells and whistles. Equipment and facilities were updated, clean, and user friendly. The golf simulator was cool. During my free trial, I did not have enough time to use the excellent pools. Disappointingly, the hot tub was broken. At the 125 bucks price point, I was flabbergasted to find out that NO child care services are available. I have a 4.5 month old daughter. It is sad that a gym owned by a hospital would neglect the need for a child zone. I will likely join the YMCA which is WAY cheaper and offers what parents and children need. Take care!

Clean facilities with so much equipment to choose from! My family loves it here. The only con is they don't offer childcare services. I recently had my fourth child so unable to utilize the gym unless I have a sitter, or I go without my husband. Young mothers would flock here if they had childcare and I am certain they would get their money's worth for what they put into the child care room. Moreover it is a big name, Bronson.

I’ve been a member for many years. Sad to say that I can no longer recommend the facility. It’s great if you like paying $125/month for a status brag. A lot of amenities, sure. Support staff are great. But when it comes down to how the facility treats and communicates with its members from the management level, it’s not worth it. Especially at the cost. Overall, go somewhere else at half the cost. You’ll be happier.
