Brian Piccolo Sports Park & Velodrome

Worst soccer fields we have ever played on. Dangerous holes, poor grass coverage, holes in nets. Played Dreams Cup here, very disappointed in both the field operations and Dreams Cup thinking this was acceptable. After confronting management about the field conditions, they said “That’s why we have great insurance.”

Lovely location, the park is just beautifully maintained, I went with my toddler a couple of weeks ago and did not disappointed we even went back the next week.

My team and I decided to register in this league a while back, and it has been a HUGE disappointment — a total WASTE OF TIME, MONEY, AND PATIENCE. We were excited to play, but we haven’t had a single game in OVER A MONTH, and every time we ask what’s going on, we get excuses that make no sense. One Sunday, I woke up early, went out to buy water and supplies for my team, and drove all the way from HOMESTEAD to HOLLYWOOD for our 9 a.m. game — only to find out the games were CANCELLED DUE TO “BAD WEATHER.” The crazy part? The day was PERFECTLY SUNNY in the entire Hollywood area. No rain, no clouds, nothing. It’s clear the park management and whoever runs this league DON’T CARE about the players. They cancel games for no reason, do ZERO COMMUNICATION, and the fields are barely maintained. For a paid recreational league, this level of organization is UNACCEPTABLE. I really hope the county or whoever oversees Brian Piccolo Sports Park TAKES ACTION, because this kind of management is EMBARRASSING and should NOT happen again.
