Best Western St Catharines Hotel & Conference Centre

Arrived and found the entrance was a building site, no real problem signs to temporary entrance and reception. Checked in all good although on checking my credit card later I noticed that it had been charged twice. I went back and spoke to the lady in charge, and she promised it would be sorted which it was.||The room was an executive one which was big, comfortable and probably a bit better than normal Best Western ones. The bathroom was also bigger with a range of toiletries and two washing basins.||There was no coffee machine again as noted on other review Best Western are trialling removing them, a bad move in my opinion! I mentioned this to the lady in reception and about 10 minutes later a coffee machine along with plentiful supplies was delivered to the room. If you are aware of this, just ask at reception and they may provide you with a machine and supplies. Very impressed and thank you.||The breakfast was a hot one with scrambled eggs, sausage patties, fried potatoes. There was also bread, cereals, yoghurts, fruit and muffins along with a selection of juices.||So, to conclude a nice comfort hotel and would stay again no problem. Thank you.

While the hotel is dated. It was okay for a two night stay as we attended a nearby event. The room was clean. The pillows were extremely soft, too soft for us. Our air conditioner was very very week and didn't provide enough cooling. The included breakfast was decent, not spectacular, but adequate. No milk or chocolate milk. The front desk staff were excellant at both check-in and check-out.

we had a great experience. We brought our two Bernese mountain dogs with us on this trip. this hotel was everything we could have asked for. They put a lot of work into the inside of this building. Our room was clean and the walls were sound proof. It was the only place in the area that would take our dogs, but we are so happy we found this Gem. The front desk staff were great!
