My husband & I recently just got married at Beechwood back in November of 2024. The reception space was absolutely gorgeous & everything we wanted for our wedding, the lighting really just set the tone for the night. Elsie was extremely helpful in making sure our wedding was everything we imagined & more, whether it was picking the right centre pieces or setting up our dessert station just the way we envisioned. The food was delicious & we had so many guests compliment it after the meal was finished!
Our wedding at Beechwood Golf and Social House was an absolute dream. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day, and the venue itself is truly stunning. Our outdoor ceremony had a beautiful backdrop of the golf course, and the reception spaces were perfectly set up for guests to enjoy both indoors and out. A major plus was the option to rent the charming farmhouse steps away, which provided a convenient and lovely space for family to stay and for the bride to get ready. Dinner was served in the barn, which had a wonderfully calm and warm atmosphere that we adored. The food was not only delicious but also served hot, with the hardworking Beechwood staff ensuring every guest was served quickly and efficiently. So much of the credit goes to our coordinator at Beechwood, Elsie. She has an incredible eye for decorating and helped us bring our vision to life, ensuring every detail was beautiful. Her impeccable planning meant the entire day flowed flawlessly, and we were able to relax and enjoy every single moment without any stress. When it was time for the final part of the night, Jenny who took over for Elsie and was fantastic. She was so friendly, hardworking, and helpful, making sure everything concluded perfectly. We are so grateful to the entire team at Beechwood Golf and Social House for their dedication. We highly recommend them to any couple seeking a beautiful venue with exceptional staff and service.
Course was in bad condition (muddy, holes everywhere) greens were covered in goose poop, garbage everywhere, ponds and rivers smelt really bad, and most grass was in such rough shape I lost some balls I shot onto the fairway. Carts were falling apart and rattling like crazy, the paths were covered in pot holes and the signs were confusing. Staff were almost rude and didn’t really look happy to be there. Felt like a sub par golf course and DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE PRICE.
