Atikwa Golf Club

Nice course, but not for the price listed on the website. Should be about $20 less for the green fee. Carts were not in good condition, very slow and jumpy. Also, the pro shop worker was very rude for no reason. We were very cooperative and he was giving us attitude and getting annoyed at us for simply being a paying customer.

This review is meant to be constructive criticism for the club and a fair warning for prospective customers. I believe this place is significantly overpriced considering the product you receive. $80 for 18 riding on the weekend, while the fairways and tee boxes are littered with dandelions. I’m happy to pay $80 for a nice well kept course. I’m also happy to pay $40 for a course that needs a little TLC. However, I will not plan on coming back at that rate.

Course is a shell of its former conditions. Carts were ready to die multiple times during the round. Tee boxes looked like a hazard. Fairways were not so fare, and the greens needed new pin holes weeks ago. Grass was growing into the cups. Rough was pretty thick, which might be okay but probably more neglecting. The bridges are in dire need of repairs. I didn't dare take a picture due to looking away even for a minute would be disastrous. Atikwa you were fun to play while it lasted. Thanks for the past memories but that's all you're going to be unless you get a little TLC.
