I visited the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame today with my students on a field trip, and it was an incredible experience for all of us! The museum is interactive, engaging, and packed with inspiring stories of Alberta’s sports legends. The students especially loved the virtual sports games and hands-on exhibits—they had fun while learning about the rich sports history of the province. The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and great with the kids. It’s a perfect spot for school trips or family visits. Highly recommended if you're looking to spark motivation and team spirit in young minds!
Took a team of 12-13 year olds here while we were in town for a tournament, we're always passing through Red Deer and have never stopped! It was great to keep the kids engaged and busy for a few hours. I was a little disappointed in the age and disrepair of a few of the interactive exhibits. 3-4 of them weren't reliably working. We really liked the adaptive sports session we added.
Great Hall of Fame. Lots of great displays and interactive exhibits. My wife and I thought it might have been boring but that was far from what we experienced. The price of admission was well worth it. I have driven past the Hall of Fame for many years on the QE2 and finally took the time to visit. We enjoyed our visit and recommend coming if you can. I saw a lot of familiar sports faces in the inductee area that I recognized from past years.
