Freestyle Social Club

We started a birthday event at poolside and it was the perfect indoor pool space as winter clung to Calgary. Our server was friendly and fantastically conscious of lower- or slower-alcohol consumers. We had nibbled and drinks that did take a really long time to arrive, but after one server dumping a tray at the exact moment a song stopped, we could tell the universe was against them that day. The manager went out of her way to make it right and we plan to return for sure. It's warm and beachy and chill.

On point. Vibes were fantastic and mr Jerwin made sure they'd be even better. Whole-heartedly suggest.

Went to the pool for a gathering for a friend’s wedding. Our server, Jerwin, was absolutely phenomenal, polite and attentive, and really made the event special for all of us. The food was delicious and it was just a wonderful experience overall.

We had Jerwin as our server for our pre-wedding party and he is BEYOND fantastic. From above and beyond service for food and drink, making sure the pool area wasn't too hot, and making us feel so special with champagne, cake, and a printed card, he was truly a beacon in one of the best moments of our lives. I had the pleasure of visiting Freestyle Social Club this evening after a long day of snowboarding with my son. I remember coming here back in 2006 (when it may have been under a different name), and it’s amazing to see how much it has evolved since then. The service was outstanding—professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was excellent across the board, with the desserts being a real highlight. The drinks were equally impressive. My partner ordered a non-alcoholic Pineapple Paradise, and I watched the bartender perform an impressive “Tom Cruise-style” cocktail shake behind the bar—it was clear right away we were in for something special. We later learned that he had worked at some high-end establishments in the Bahamas, and it definitely showed. I honestly haven’t seen this level of skill and showmanship in Calgary before. What stood out even more was that he also helped deliver food and handle our bill—truly a jack-of-all-trades. In a time when many places are struggling with staffing, it’s refreshing to see a restaurant that maintains such a high caliber team. Between the exceptional service, incredible food, and beautifully done decor, everything felt polished and thoughtfully executed. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back.
